Auto Accidents

Auto Accidents

At North Georgia Spinal Care, we have the expertise to assist you through an auto accident recovery.

Motor vehicle accidents can cause spinal and soft tissue injuries that often result in pain, headaches, reduced ranges of motion, and overall discomfort. Whiplash injuries are often associated with auto accidents and can cause a lot of pain and discomfort and take a long time to heal. Chiropractors are specifically trained to treat musculoskeletal injuries, so seeing a chiropractor after an auto accident is a logical choice.

If you have x-rays, MRIs, or other scans that were performed after the accident we ask that you bring them in with you on a disk, along with a printed report of the findings. If you haven’t had any diagnostic tests we will perform x-rays in the office as part of your evaluation.

If you are working with an attorney, please have your attorney contact the office directly, before your appointment, so that we can coordinate an attorney lien with them, or make alternate arrangements. You may also use the medical payments portion of your auto insurance- you can speak with your insurance adjustor to get information about your policy limits, and billing information.

If you are not working with an attorney and you don’t have medical payments on your personal auto insurance then you will be considered a self-pay patient and payment at the time of service will be required.

Once you have made an appointment for your evaluation, please print off this packet to complete and bring with you to your appointment.
